The Terriers winless streak reached five games, as Dartmouth doubled up the Terriers 4-2. Senior Nick Lovejoy broke a 2-2 tie in the third period with his first goal of the year. Leading scorer Eric Neiley's shorthanded goal gave the Big Green the insurance they needed. A first period goal by Cason Hohmann and a 5-on-3 goal by Matt Grzelyck in the second period accounted for all of the scoring for BU. Sean Maguire made 32 saves in the losing effort.
The loss drops the Terriers to 7-10-2, and 0-4-1 in their last five games. The Terriers next game will be at Fenway Park on Saturday, January 11tth. Note: the starting time has been moved up to 3pm, due to expected rain later in the day.
